MD has also directed music & Singing for Kavi – Kaavya – Gayana of 2009 and 2014 Hampi Utsava. He has also performed in well-known events such as Mysuru Dasara Utsava, Chalukya utsava, Keladi Utsava, Kithuru Utsava, Ranna utsava and many more. MD has laid footprints in spreading out kannada folk music at Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Ooty and many more prominent cities. He is well-praised and recognized for conducting a 100 singer orchestra ( Naadageethe and Raaitha geethe) at Bengaluru’s 77th Akhila Kannada Sahithya Sammelana.

In 2011-12, he was a committee member at “SANTHA SHISHUNAALA SHARIEEFA PRASHASHTHI” nominee selections. Under the programme name “BHARAVASEYA KORALUGALU”, he has mentored and introduced many well-known singers. “AKKA SAMMELANA” which was held at Atlanta, USA in 2012 & 2014 gave MD an opportunity to widespread kannada folk and light music. He also performed at various cities such as Green valley, Connecticut, New York, Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Tampa and Indianapolis. With the support of Swara surabhi trust and Dr.Bettagiti krishnssharma trust, MD has trained, mentored and introduced many singer from rural corners of Karnataka.

In 2007, he served as a member for Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat and 2010 he became the executive chairman and in 2013 he was the Principal convener for KSSP.

In 2015 November, he perfomed in Singapore at “Deeposthava” programme and was well-praised for this voice and style of singing.

From 2017 he was an active Jury member at Zee kannasa Sa-re-ga-ma-pa DD Chandan’s “Ugaadi Sambrama – 2018” telecasted many of his composition songs for the event. Also, MD is Akashavani’s GRADE-2 level composer
